TIME FOR KIDS: TYPE OF TRAINS
STEP 1: READ ALOUD
- BEFORE YOU READ: Ask students if they have every been on a train. Ask them what they already know about trains. Point out that (1) monorails, like those at many airports and amusement parks, and (2) subways, like those in New York City, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco, are all trains.
